FORT LAUDERDALE — Executive Producer Ronnie Larsen will bring a new production of David Dillon’s hit Off Broadway comedy, Party, to Empire Stage, 1140 N. Flagler Dr. in Fort Lauderdale. The play will run May 6 through June 12.
Called “one of the most uplifting and affirming representations of gay life on any stage ever” by The Advocate, the play explores the shocking revelations when a group of gay friends engage in an innocent game of “Facts and Fantasies” and wind up revealing everything.
Los Angeles-based director, writer and actor Nic Arnzen (Days of Our Lives, Terence McNally’s Some Men, WeHo) will direct the production. Casting is nearly complete and will be announced soon.
Party will be performed on Wednesdays through Fridays at 8 p.m. and Saturdays and Sundays at 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets are $35 for general admission and $50 for preferred seating at RonnieLarsen.com.
